As you can tell this is a first attempt at painting on glass. I took a one day class and decided to paint a crazy wine glass to take to my very fun Bunco night!! I learned many things from the "challenges" of this wine glass - it was great fun - but not sure it's my cup of tea, or should I say my glass of wine!!
very pretty
ReplyDeleteWell I like your new Bunco glass!! I did glass painting several years ago and of all people my adult son was the one who like it most. He actually conned me into doing several beer mugs for him. I also did a couple of plates for serving Christmas candies/cookies which were a little more difficult because you paint the design in "upside down" since it's on the bottom of the plate. Hope you do a few more before declaring this craft off your list.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job of painting that glass. I haven't tried that but did do folk art at one time and it definitely wasn't my cup of tea....LOL.
ReplyDeleteI have seen these in gift stores and they are not cheap! Like your glass for your first attempt!
ReplyDeleteI loved painting on glass. Have you tried reverse painting on the glass in an 8 x 10 frame? Now that is what I had fun doing. Your glass turned out great.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you have done some painting on glass. Yoyo and Molly you sound more advanced but I love the idea of the plates and the frame - I think I'll try again.
